Do You Know This Guy?

Being the victim of a crime is never convenient, but being the victim of a crime when you are part of a military family and normally stationed in Japan, well that’s really a problem. And that’s exactly what happened to one visitor to the area.

Our victim and his two children went to pick up a few things from a local store. While there he accidentally left his wallet behind. He went back to get it and it was already grabbed up by a ne’er-do-well.

Shame on this person for keeping someone else’s wallet and potentially making it tough for our victim to get back home with no ID.

We’ve got a few photos for you to look at of both the person of interest in this case and his vehicle. Maybe you can identify him and help set things right.

The male seen picking up the wallet is described as a heavy set, white male, wearing a horizontal striped polo shirt and dark shorts.  He has short dark hair and a goatee. He left the scene in a smaller blue vehicle.

Anyone with information on this person’s identity is asked to contact the Overland Park Police at 913-344-8730.
