Results of the July 18th DUI Check Lane

The Overland Park Police Department and several Kansas police agencies conducted a DUI Check Lane on Friday, July 18th, 2014. The DUI Check Lane was conducted with the intent to reduce alcohol related auto accidents and discourage impaired driving.

Each driver was briefly interviewed by an officer as they entered the lane and provided with a brochure on Drinking and Driving. Of the 526 drivers who entered entering the check lane, 38 of them were given Field Sobriety testing.
