Today Marks the 30th Anniversary of the Passing of Officer Deanna Rose

For past and present members of the Overland Park Police Department, the arrival of January 26th each year is a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifice paid by one of our own, 30 years ago today.

This morning at 11:00, the department paid tribute to Officer Deanna Hummel Rose, with a special radio broadcast to all officers on duty and those monitoring our talk group.
